Kimberly Tripett, Ed.S., is the project coordinator for the Leaders in Literacy initiative of the Mississippi State University Early Childhood Institute.

Ms. Triplett taught third and fifth grade for five years before joining ECI. She holds the bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Mississippi University for Women and master’s and specialist degrees in curriculum and instruction from the University of Mississippi. She is enrolled in the doctoral program in curriculum and instruction at Mississippi State University.

A native of Louisville, Mississippi, she enjoys romance novels, shopping, computer games, and movies, and spending time with family and friends.
