Cheryl Mueller, M.S.

Mississippi Power Early Learning Program
Cheryl
Mueller, M.S., is the project coordinator for the Mississippi Power Early
Learning Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois
University and a master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. She
has worked as a social worker with the Illinois Department of Mental Health
and with the Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan, Department of Human Services.
Since moving to Mississippi in the 1980s, Mueller has taught child and
family studies courses at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) and
classes for the Child Development Associate credential through Jones Junior
College and has directed the USM Center for Child Development. She is
the proud mother of three grown sons and one grandson.
