Lynn Darling, Ph.D.
Reliability Coordinator/Monitor


Dr. Darling is the author of Using the Mississippi Early Learning Guidelines: A Complete Curriculum for Three-Year-Olds (Mississippi State University Early Childhood Institute, 2007). She began her early childhood career teaching preschool at the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center, located in the American History Museum of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. She received
M.Ed. and Ph.D. degrees in early childhood education from the University of Maryland. After moving to Mississippi in 1997, Dr. Darling began working with the Early Childhood Institute in a variety of roles. She is currently working as a program evaluator and monitor for the Mississippi Child Care Quality Step System.  In addition, she is writing Using the Mississippi Early Learning Guidelines:  A Complete Curriculum for Four-Year-Olds, which will be available online in July of 2008.
