Crystal Blackmon, B.A.

Crystal Blackmon is a field supervisor for the Mississippi Delta Early Learning Corps with the Early Childhood Institute at Mississippi State University.

From Jackson, Mississippi, Ms. Blackmon previously was employed with Friends of Children of Mississippi, Inc., as a Head Start teacher. At ECI, she works with the Leaders in Literacy initiative, providing technical assistance to teachers in child care centers and Head Start centers.

Ms. Blackmon holds the Bachelor of Arts degree in child development from Tougaloo College and is pursuing a Master’s of Science degree in early childhood education at Jackson State University. In her spare time she enjoys reading, shopping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
