Right from Birth Mississippi Project

Mississippi State University has a subcontract with Georgetown University for the development of a project between the Early Childhood Institute and Extension Services' Nurturing Homes Initiative with Drs. Craig and Sharon Ramey at Georgetown University. Research focuses on a 3 x 3 evaluation model. The centers and family daycare homes are randomly selected. The experimental group is provided with coaches for 20 days in the center and family home. The project is funded for three years with source of funding originally coming from Child Care Bureau, Washington, D.C.
