What Comes After My CDA?

The CDA is really the beginning of your career in early childhood education and care.

The CDA will make you more valuable to your employer. Early childhood programs must have employees with the CDA to earn higher ratings in the Mississippi Child Care Quality Step System. Tell your employer that you are working on your CDA – and tell him or her again when you receive the credential.

The following colleges in Mississippi offer the AA.S. in Early Childhood Technology:

Coahoma Community College

Copiah-Lincoln Community College

East Central Community College

Hinds Community College

Itawamba Community College

Jones County Junior College

Meridian Community College

Mississippi Delta Community College

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College

Northeast Mississippi Community College

Northwest Mississippi Community College

Pearl River Community College

Southwest Mississippi Community College
